Kinky Jesus: The Second Coming:
Kinky Jesus Blow My God tells all

by Drew Rowsome -

"I wouldn't say I was nude, I would say I was definitely glittery," says Blow My God of how he won the first annual Kinky Jesus Competition. He notes that nudity definitely gives a contestant an edge. "My final wear was 'Glitter Dick' where we literally shake and baked my cock and balls with glitter. It was fabulous but you wouldn't believe how sharp glitter is."

Blow My God was one of the first to agree to participate. "One of my friends is a Sister and asked me if I'd be interested in running in the inaugural Kinky Jesus Competition. They know that I'm an attention whore and constantly need affirmation, so it sounded like a fun time and I signed up. The Sisters are a great organization and I hope they grow in numbers."

Like a kinkified Easter egg hunt, the Kinky Jesus Competition is full of surprises and hidden treasures. "I'm not exactly sure what's going to be happening, it's a different format but I'm excited to do the event again. I have to pass on my crown, but I get to keep my sash. The new one is being finished as we speak."

The celebrity judges, the salivating crowd, the thrill of sacrilege, the incessant cruising, the Kinky Jesus Competition is an overwhelming experience. Blow My God has advice for the contestants, "If you're going to compete bring your A-game. None of us last year knew what to expect in terms of the competition. You must be prepared to go over the top, there were different phases last year with Messiah Wear, Kinky Wear and Minimalist Wear, make sure you have costume changes and are ready to do it on the fly. It doesn't hurt to pander to the audience and to the judges." And, of course, nudity and glitter don't hurt.

Winning is it's own reward but Blow My God notes that the duties that come with being crowned with thorns are not odious or demanding. "I was kind of disappointed," he says. "I went to a couple of events, marched at Pride with the Sisters, I'm involved in the kink and fetish community so I went to various events as Jesus. I love costumes. I love getting dressed up, I love going out and just having fun. Anytime anyone tells me I have the opportunity to get dressed up, I am always interested. Especially if you say theme or matchies, I am definitely an over-committer."

And once Blow My God returns to being a mere mortal? "My partner runs a latex/bondage company so I'm thinking of doing a latex competition. All it really takes for me is to tell me it will garner attention." He notes that he is, at all times, very Jesus-like. "I'm very giving."

Kinky Jesus: The Second Coming is on Fri, April 14 at 3pm at Club 120, 120 Church St. torontosisters.com
