Showcasing the best of short films and screenplays from the LGBT community. Each month a new Screenplay Winner will be selected to be performed by professional actors.
Festival runs at The Carlton Cinemas, located at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.

A 20-something woman gets invited to her ex-girlfriend’s wedding to a man and decides to go. Despite her disapproval of the wedding, she travels to Connecticut for the weekend where she reunites with old friends and her ex and gains a new perspective on her past relationship.

T(HE)Y was created with the idea of identity in mind. What we’ve each been through and how we are treated by others and society shapes us in very distinct ways. As a result, the world, especially New York, is filled with a diverse range of people with complex and different identities. Each day, different people experience and view the world through entirely different lenses, based on those identities. Often, we forget that this is the case.

It’s 1982, Marsh is 24 years old, and he struggles with a tormenting secret. Feeling disconnected human relationships others take for granted, Marsh treads water in the often painful doldrums of everyday life.
BO & MEI, 15min., UK, LGBT/Drama
Directed by Camille Liu Nock
A short film about a Chinese immigrant family who experiences racial prejudice as well as prejudice of a different kind within their own home. This is a story about a young person who with the support of their loving sibling is able to stand up for the things that make them different.
